How do I get to Revelstoke?
The two most popular International Airports to Revelstoke are Kelowna and Calgary. We would definitely recommend the Kelowna route, while shorter it is also a lot safer and more reliable. We also have a scheduled service from Kelowna to Revelstoke, the Stoke Shuttle, where as the Calgary route is only accessible by private transfer.
Ok, the shuttle sounds awesome, how do I book?
You can book right on our website, just use the book now link on the left hand side of the website. Any questions just give us a call at 1 888 569 1969.
Where do I meet you at the airport?
We work with the Kelowna Ambassadors at the airport. Once you have collected your bags please look for their booth next to the baggage carousel.
The Kelowna Ambassadors will then direct you down to the other end of the airport where our drivers will meet you at the “shuttle meeting point” next to the White Spot Restaurant. You can view a floor plan of the airport here.
How long is the journey to Revelstoke?
From Kelowna International Airport the drive is only about 2.5 hours, our Stoke Shuttle drivers are fully qualified and all of our vehicles have studded winter tires and are inspected daily to make sure they are fit for the harsh conditions. If you decide to rent a car from Calgary, expect this to take about 6 hours, you may also experience delays as this stretch of road was closed for 55 days of the season last year.
Once I’m in Revelstoke, what are my options for accommodation?
Revelstoke has a huge variety of accommodation ranging from small BnBs to Downtown Hotels to Ski in Ski out Resorts. There are three main locations for the accommodations in town, each with their own benefits:
Sutton Place is the only hotel at the base of the ski hill offering the only “Ski in ski out” perk. There are several vacation rentals such as Powder Lodge which are also within walking distance from the ski hill but are catered to larger groups. There is one restaurant and one Bar/Bistro at the Sutton Place complex. For more info about Powder Lodge email email@example.com.
The advantage of being downtown in Revelstoke is you have much more access to a wider variety of entertainment, more restaurants, more bars etc… The only disadvantage with being downtown is there are no high end hotels.
Out on the highway, which is a taxi ride from town, there are a few hotels the nicest of which is the Best Western Plus and the Hillcrest which is further up the highway but has it’s own restaurant and bar.
What about the shuttle service up to the ski hill, how long does it take?
The shuttle up to the ski hill takes around 15 minutes, check out of transport page for more info.
What kinds of activities are there in Revelstoke?
Well you’ve come to the right website, check out our Activities page for more info
